Mitsubishi AJ65SBTB1-16D

The AJ65SBTB1-16D is a 16-point DC input remote I/O module for CC-Link networks produced by Mitsubishi Electric, which is one of the Mitsubishi AJ65SBTB series remote equipment station modules. It is capable of transmitting the switching signal from the field to the master PLC via the CC-Link network.

The core function of this module is to receive an external DC 24V switching signal and transmit it to the master PLC via a CC-Link network.

It has the following characteristics:

Simplified wiring: The terminal block is connected by screws, and the source and sink wiring methods are supported, which can help reduce the wiring workload for different equipment configuration habits.

Network expansion and flexible configuration: The CC-Link system can connect up to 64 remote I/O units to a single master station, which occupies one station number. The total network size can reach up to 2048 points.

Ease of Maintenance: The module adopts a terminal block design that does not require the entire CC-Link system to be shut down when replacing equipment, and supports hot-swapping (please check the specific network configuration and system support), which facilitates maintenance and reduces downtime.

Flexible installation: The module has a compact design and can be installed in six directions, and also supports DIN rail mounting, which can be adapted to different control cabinet spaces.

Safety design: The terminal block has a finger protection function on the top to prevent accidental contact with the live part, and it meets the IP2X protection level.

Wiring and installation

Wiring: The external connection adopts terminal block connection (M3 screw), it is recommended to use press-mounted terminals, and the cross-sectional area of the applicable wire is generally 0.3~2.0mm².

Installation: The module can be mounted via DIN rails (model TH35-7.5Fe or TH35-7.5A1) or directly with M4 bolts with flat washers (fastening torque 79~108N·cm). The module supports 6 orientations of mounting.

Precautions for use

When using the AJ65SBTB1-16D, you need to pay attention to the following points:

Power supply matching: Ensure that the power supply is within the rated voltage range (DC19.2~26.4V) and pay attention to the power supply volatility.

Network configuration: In the configuration software of CC-Link master stations (such as Mitsubishi Q series PLCs), it is necessary to correctly set the station number, transmission rate and other relevant parameters of the module, and ensure that the total number of points and stations in the entire network does not exceed the limit.

Environmental conditions: Pay attention to the ambient temperature, humidity, etc. of the module to ensure that it is within the range specified in the specification.

Anti-interference measures: The industrial site environment is complex, and it is recommended to take appropriate anti-interference measures when wiring, such as separating signal lines from power lines and using shielding wires.

summary

The AJ65SBTB1-16D is a 16-point DC 24V input remote I/O module for Mitsubishi CC-Link networks. With its stable performance, flexible configuration and installation methods, it is suitable for many industrial automation control systems to achieve decentralized data collection.
